Who we are

Smith Carpentry LLC. was founded in 2004 by Sylvester Smith as a residential home builder, in southeast Michigan, "downriver area". Partnering with Mary Smith in 2006, we have grown into a prosperous, commercial sized multi-family framing Company. We frame multi-family student housing and apartment complexes across the USA. Our framing division who are currently working in Colorado,Arkansas, Texas and Florida average between 80 to 175 men, depending on the size of the project we are executing at that time. We have executed several large projects such as Aspen Heights Springfield student Housing building. This 5 Story Type 3 beautiful building can be found across from The Springfield Cardinals Baseball stadium.

We pride ourself on making sure buildings are turned over complete as quickly as possible for each developer and or GC. We don't leave punchout un finished and we make sure the buildings are swept clean before we leave. Turning over a clean building makes everyone after us responsible to leave the building the way they found it!

Smith Carpentry has completed framing for Aspen Heights on their project in Stillwater Oklahoma. a multi family framing project consisting of 171 buildings, over 483,000 sq ft, completed 140 days.
